YOUR PATH TO ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS
Your NDIS plan is built around one thing: your goals. Whether you want to improve your mobility, connect with your community, or build your independence, our primary focus is to provide the expert support to
help you get there.
We’re here to be your partner in progress. Our NDIS-registered Exercise Physiologists will work with you to design a tailored treatment plan that is both effective and enjoyable. We’ll provide the guidance you need to build your skills, increase your confidence, and take control of your health journey.
What ndis funds for exercise physiology
Exercise physiology sits under Capacity Building Supports, specifically the Improved Daily Living category, also referred to as Therapeutic Supports. This funding is designed to build your skills and independence over time, rather than provide ongoing personal care.
Your plan does not need to name an exercise physiologist specifically. If your goals relate to mobility, strength, fitness, pain management, or functional capacity, your support coordinator or planner can usually allocate funding from this category.
WHO CAN ACCESS THIS FUNDING
Self-managed participants — book directly, no additional approval needed
Plan-managed participants — your plan manager pays the invoice on your behalf
Agency-managed (NDIA-managed) participants — services are billed directly through the portal
No referral from a GP or specialist is required to begin. If you already have one, bring it along and we will incorporate it into your assessment.
CONDITIONS AND GOALS WE SUPPORT
Physical disability and mobility impairment
Psychosocial disability
Neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, MS, and acquired brain injury
Chronic health conditions affecting function and fitness
Intellectual and developmental disability
If your goals are more focused on managing an ongoing health condition than disability-specific support, our chronic disease management service may be a better starting point — we can help you work out which is the right fit.
